You will most likely need repair help at some point with your pool. What's important is that you find the right company to provide that help. There are really just two things you truly want when it comes to finding good service with your home:
- Quality
- Honesty
Quality means you know the service was performed correctly. Honesty means you know you paid a fair price. You should expect no different when it comes to someone doing repairs for you.
Pink Truck Pools delivers both. We provide the best service at reasonable rates. We are always honest, providing you with upfront evaluations before doing any work.
As the consumer awareness is critical in receiving good service. Pink Truck Pools wants to help educate you, to help you gain a basic understanding of what's involved in any pool repair. Let us talk you through the few key parts involved in a pool:
- Water
- Pump (aka motor): this is what moves your water around so it isn't stagnant
- Filter: this is what cleans debris out of your water
- Pool Materials (the kind of materials that make your pool walls and floor)
Pink Truck Pools wants you to be an educated consumer. That is why we take the time to explain how things work so you are aware of the full picture. So let us tell you a bit more about how those parts fit together.
Your pool water is moved around the pool with your pool pump so that it doesn't sit stagnant collecting bacteria and algae. The pool pump also sucks water from the pool through pipes into the pool filter.
The water goes into the pool filter where any debris or unwanted particles are removed. Just think of it like a large coffee filter that holds your coffee grounds and lets the hot water pass through. That clean water is then pushed back through separate pipes back into the pool.
The only piece we are missing are your pool materials. These days swimming pools may be made of pebble tec, plaster, or fiberglass. Just be aware of the materials of your pool.
If you choose another service provider other than Pink Truck Pools, make sure the pool repair person can explain clearly what repairs or service needs to be done.
If it isn't clear - you have the wrong company. Always make sure the they are knowledgeable about any work that needs to be completed. If you have any doubt that the repair may not be valid, ask more questions - that will keep their honesty in check.
Hopefully you don't need any work done anytime soon, but at least you are more prepared to find the right choice in case you do...
