How We Make a Difference

Pink Truck Pools was started by a few guys who want to do their part to make a difference in this world. Just like so many other people in this world they used to throw away their soda cans and not worry about gas mileage.

But then one day they realized it was time to take responsibility for the world in which they lived. And even more, they decided it was time to try and make a difference for others as well.

What we know is how to clean pools. It is a business full of chemicals and full of people who don't think there is a better way to clean pools to reduce the impact on the environment. We'll, there is...

Pink Truck Pools isn't a miracle organization. Chemical use is required to keep water safe and clean. We simply try to do the small things that make sense.

We currently drive the most ecologically friendly trucks, that produce the least amount of emissions possible. These are currently small v4 trucks...and we are looking forward to the release of small hybrid trucks soon. (Large flex fuel and hybrid trucks are available, but they actually produce more emissions due to the larger size of the engine).

We also try to conserve as much water as possible. Many pool technicians will try to drain your pool and refill it with new water to unnecessarily fix problems. That not only means thousands of wasted gallons of water...that also means additional expense for you to refill the pool. We make sure your pool is sparkling, and we only resort to draining pools when absolutely necessary...keeping money in your wallet, keeping water on this earth, and keeping your pool sparkling clean.

We reduce the amount of chemicals used in your pool to the minimum required to keep your pool sparkling clean. Many pool technicians will not take the time to correctly evaluate your pool's chemistry on every trip. Instead they will error on over-saturating your pool with chemicals to make it look clean while distributing unnecessary chemicals into your water and into the surrounding environment.

We also recycle whatever products and packaging possible. We try to put the reduce, reuse, recycle approach to work in our daily lives to help you see the difference in yours.
