Is Chemical Service Enough?

Is signing up for chemical service in the Arizona weather enough to take care of your pool?

In short, probably not.

Every pool owner knows that in order to have their pools clean and crystal clear there are certain types of chemicals that have to be added to the water on a regular basis.  It doesn't matter if you do it yourself or have a service do it, but it is an essential part of caring for your pool.

Everybody with their own home pool has a preference for how to get and use their pool chemicals.  Most people choose one of three ways to ensure their friends and family get the enjoyment and clean conditions you expect from your outdoor pool.

  1. Retail Stores
  2. Delivered
  3. Cleaning company

The first method for receiving the necessary sanitizers and oxidizers for your pool is from a retail store that specializes in these products.

While it's likely that they also offer at home service and delivery, many people prefer to take care of their pool maintenance themselves.  You should also be able to bring a water sample from the pool to the shop and have the professionals there help you determine which products you need to keep your pool clear and blue.

From there, you add the chemicals into the water as needed.  Some pool owners prefer this method because it is less expensive and allows them to care for the pool when it is convenient.

Another way to go about getting the chemicals you need is to have your products delivered.  With this option, an employee of the company has a certain time and day of the week when they bring the pool products to you.

You are still responsible for ensuring that the sanitizing products make it in the water and your levels stay at the correct levels.  It's kind of like having diapers delivered.  The company brings you the stuff, but you are the one who has to use it.  Many owners find this delivery system easier to fit into their schedules.

The final way to get the most from is to have a weekly scheduled appointment with a cleaning company to come out and care for your pool.  With this option, the company employee brings any necessary items with them, cleans and sanitizes the pool, and takes care of all of the maintenance for you.

This is a fantastic way of assuring the water in your pool is always clean and safe to swim in.
